According to today’s article on myway, electronics from overseas are being shipped complete with one or more viruses:
From iPods to navigation systems, some of today’s hottest gadgets are landing on store shelves with some unwanted extras from the factory - pre-installed viruses that steal passwords, open doors for hackers and make computers spew spam.
None of the companies whose products were infected would respond to questions with any details.
To protect yourself you should run an up to date anti-virus program on new electronic products your purchase.
